The 42nd Annual Meeting of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education is to be held over five days from 03 July in Umeå, Sweden, with an Early Researchers Day, for early career researchers, on 02 July.

The theme of the conference is “Delight in Mathematics Education” which refers to the joy, pleasure and beauty in both mathematics and mathematics education. It includes issues on how both teaching and learning mathematics can be fun, meaningful, and inspiring, for teachers as well as for students.

In addition to the four plenary lecutures there will be presentations of research reports, colloquia, research fora and working groups.
