The story so far

Cambridge Mathematics was commissioned at the end of 2014, championed by Simon Lebus, Group Chief Executive of Cambridge Assessment and created in partnership with Cambridge University Press and the University of Cambridge faculties of education and mathematics. The Cambridge Mathematics Symposium 2018, marked the halfway point in the development of the Cambridge Mathematics Framework.

Update on the Cambridge Mathematics Framework

At the Symposium Lynne McClure, Director of Cambridge Mathematics; Rachael Horsman, Lead Framework Designer and Lucy Rycroft-Smith, Communications and Research, set out the research-based approach to curriculum design and the development of the Framework to date.

Reflections from Simon Lebus

Simon Lebus, Group Chief Executive, Cambridge Assessment, reflected on the achievements of the Cambridge Mathematics team so far.

Closing remarks from Peter Phillips

Peter Phillips, Chief Executive of Cambridge University Press, provided a comprehensive and inspiring summary of the day’s proceedings.
