Fran Watson
Fran leads on school liaison for the Cambridge Mathematics team, where she also writes Espressos, Instants and other professional learning resources for practitioners.
Fran has been a regular speaker at the Royal Institution and delivers mathematical talks and masterclasses to a wide range of audiences across the country. She spent eight years as a member of the NRICH team, developing and delivering workshops, writing content for the website, and designing and presenting professional development courses. She has also worked as a freelance consultant, undertaking editing, writing and presenting work both nationally and internationally.
Before joining Cambridge Mathematics, Fran taught for 14 years in primary and secondary settings. For seven of those years she held Advanced Skills Teacher status in mathematics, working across a range of external projects and school improvement partnerships.
